Michael Antonello

Antonello & Associates Fine Art was founded in 1998. Michael and Jean Antonello had been collecting for a number of years and discovered that selling was as important as buying. There is a flow to the market and great objects move in and out of art lovers lives much like breathing. The company was formed to facilitate both sides of the process. We deal in fine paintings with a focus on great collecting first. These paintings must meet our high standard of quality for the enjoyment of our family, art friends and other unsuspecting but appreciative guests.

"We purchased our first painitng from my Father in 1990. It was a rather horrendous oil painting, a snow scene of a Russian Troika purchased from a commercial gallery in Florida. I bought the painting to help my Father financially. A small simple act of goodwill that really got out of hand. My Father died two years later and I feel sorry that he never got to see many of the magnificent paintings we have acquired. The economic crisis of 2008 and 2009 forced us to sell a number of great things, many of which are chronicled here in our archive. We continue to collect and have found many great, less expensive works which continue to feed our minds and hearts." - Michael Antonello
